We go through this every day. And he insists I purr at him til he falls asleep.

That pic was taken a couple of months ago.

Right before Thanksgiving, on a bitter cold night, my B-I-L opened the door to let his pitbull and German Shepherd/Lab out to potty

This scrawny, half starved and frozen kitten ran in the door as these two huge dogs came out

and ran straight to their dog bowls and started wolfing down food.

Then laid down and refused to leave - until my mom and I carried "Smooch" out the door and over to our house.

We redubbed him Reuben. He's still a smoocher tho. Skinny but huge in frame - he can stretch up & put his paws on the kitchen counter flat.

He has an oddly adorable personality. He can be such a baby and does not like not having one of his peoples with him.

And Gretchen (our pitbull) thinks he's her baby and can do no wrong. If she even thinks someone hurt his feelings, she will bark & fuss
