if it is rabbits, they'll be back. Get some spray repellant such as Liquid Fence. It stinks up the place for a few days, but it works.

I am down to one puny sunflower sprout that had been eaten, then root-forced & replanted. It's been really sad for my daughter this year!

I haven't gotten mine yet, but I ordered a new product called Bunnycages. They're attractive fencing that encloses a single plant.
