This is exactly why ping.fm is awesome.

I always had trouble understanding Ping.fm.

It's one place that you use to update all the "social networks." So you send a text or something and it updates, twitter, plurk, facebook,

etc.

that gives too many people incentive to talk to me, though. Like family. LOL
