I was at a *kenduri* just now. And this year's NDP song was part of the discussion. Hah.

it was an issue on local newspapers. the song is nice! dunno why ppl complain too much just abt it. sighs..

The song is nice, but the singer's vocal range used for the song is so minimal! Doesn't fully express any patriotism. I can't even find the

climax of the song! Also, some parts of the lyrics are ridiculous. Like having the strength of a million and courage of another million.

So what does that make our remaining 3 million population? I want to like the song, but can't.

and the tune is nice. the range shouldnt be too wide cos it would be harder to sing.

maybe because i've listened to it many many times,thats why i think it's pretty much awesome. heh.

But songs shouldn't depend on lyrics alone. And if you can notice it, his voice is very, very void of emotion. If he put in more feelings

into the song, there'll be loud and soft and hence the fluctuation in vocal range reached/used.

hmm i think the range is alright. haha. well it's really up to one to judge im glad singapore took a a dif step and chose a local band

It's kinda bland when I first hear it.

But yes, I like it that it's something different and that a local band performs the National Day song.
