it's surprisingly authentic because it's in Japan. Japanese Mexican food is usually made by Japanese who saw a picture of Mexican food once.
interestingly the Chinese business folks that visit my wife's facility always complain that American Chinese food tastes like Mexican.
that's funny. I always have trouble finding good Sichuan food in the US, as there's more Cantonese-style places. Maybe that's why.
