I didn't know about them until someone filed one about me.

I get an email and a big message when I log in about not delivering an item, but she never paid. I tried to contact her numerous times and

she never got back to me. But now Etsy is saying they are going to suspend my account over it if I don't get it fixed. What am I to do

if this lady is not getting back to me? So I'm just going to cancel this sale, I guess.

can't you reply in it with the item has not been paid for and you don't just give things away

i hate etsy

don't get me wrong i buy there and love many of the sellers. i just hate etsy the company

Brandy I would just cancel it but Etsy should not cancel your account because you didn't get paid for an item.

If the customer can prove that she paid then that's different but she didn't so I don't get that. Etsy has gotten worse over the years

I know! I followed the instructions they gave me - basically work it out with this lady. But she's not replying to my attempts.

perhaps try the same approach w/ Etsy. Explain its impossible 2 work it out when u have no reply from the buyer who hasnt paid. Tell them

you'll b canceling the order unless they reach the buyer for an explanation on no payment. And you're not in the bus of giving things 4 free

I buy from a seller who went thru the same thing. Frickin etsy closed her account on friday just before they closed for the weekend

this was last year

they reopened it on the following wednesday but they never apologized to her

yikes. I hope they don't close mine down. I emailed them, but I haven't received a reply yet.

Goodness. Maybe I won't list stuff at Etsy when I finally get my stuff ready to sell... Yikes.

Sorry you're dealing with that crap. That's just awful of them.

hopefully it just gets sorted out before they decide to close the shop or something. Mostly selling at Etsy is mostly painless unless

you get on their bad side, but I don't do much over there besides list things and only keep it up because I sell over there still.

I think you can open the new thread about it with the header like "if no response about this I will change to use ARTFIRE" or something..

and invite more people to reply in your thread.. when etsy have a thread like this they will response so quick.. someone told me..

don't know it work or not.. but I think it's not bad to try more than wait for them to response.. maybe someone with your same situation..

can help you with this.. I don't want to see they close your shop because of this stupid thing which is not your fault..

I am sorry to hear that too. I sold something and didn't get paid. Got it worked out but seller never contacted me about the issue.

Hope you have all linked your plurks to your twitter account. all this will come up there maybe they will see it.

I just got an email (same day OMG!) saying that if I just cancel the sale it'll resolve it and everything'll be fine. Phew.
