to me, yes. characters are so caricatural (mainly Ikea) that you cannot mistake them as delivering a wrong message.

the ad is humorous, but my first thought was why would she think there was a mistake when she had to have seen the prices while shopping.

It's way easy to over-think advertising - to me the whole think just seems to be playing a self-indulgent themse to a self indulgent age.
