If anyone is interested, look at these panels of art in memory of the late Ted Kennedy. he was one of a kind in the Senate
We need more people like him in Senate but sadly I don't see that ever happening.... It's sad and this whole panel was sad too
but a great tribute. Shouldnt have looked at it at work made me all teary
Those 2 did so much for PEOPLE.... didn't matter who they were or what their staus was but they fought for the little guys
Imagine if your brother died in a plane crash, then your other brother was murdered, then
you almost died in a plane crash, then your third brother was murdered, then you almost died in a
car crash where someone else died, then your son got cancer, then your brother's son died in a plane crash... and you still managed
to get up to go to work every day, trying to make other people's lives a bit better.
Then, imagine if all some people knew about you was that you fucked up and ran away from that one car crash.
Which, by the way, happened on the way home from an event where you'd been trying to cheer up people who worked for your brother
Don't try to tell me he he wasn't a good man because of that one thing he made a mistake it was not intentional and it was def not a MURDER
After all he's done for our Camelot, after all he'd been through with that ONE incident (which i will remind you that 90% of other Sen
had done MUCH worse) I'm surprised he still pushed forward, stood his ground and acomplished what he did for THE PEOPLE of this country
not for the senate or government but for PEOPLE, mostly the little people and the badly discrimiated
It's as if him and Eunice were angels.... I mean they oth lived long lives and look who they help in that lifetime they chose to help
the little people. All those near death experiences for ted and he never died.... it should tell you something
Let's not forget about his sister who ALSO died in a plane crash, & the other one that got lobotomized.
And i just learned that he personally attended EVERY funeral of those vets who gave their lives in Iraq & Afghanistan
who were among his constituents (Mass) That's impressive...
I keep reading people talking about the horrible wrong he made with the death of that lady on his overturned car but they make it seem like
he murdered someone and he didn't.
They were on a small island that is surrounded by fog at night and he took a wrong turn and didn't realise he was about to drive down a hill
onto a bridge. He didn't murder her, they were in a car crash, he got out and she didn't.
Conspiracy theories aside, that's all that evidence supports. He got out, he tried to go back
and get her ... Read moreout and was unable to do so. Then he freaked out and left. I don't see how she would have still
been alive by the time any other help arrived, anyway.
All I can see that he did legally wrong is fail to report the accident immediately, and he plead guilty to that.
Given the totally fucked up situation of his brother recently being -assassinated- and just coming from a party where
they had been surrounded by people who had worked for his brother, I think it's surprising he found the strength to
even pull himself from the car, let along keep it together enough to figure out what to do next.
I can only hope that a life of rights and just actions can make up for a big wrong. Otherwise, what is the point of life. Once you fuck u
fuck up may as well finish yourself off?
I've gone on and on I just feel this is tragic and a great loss and people need to really think before they speak ! There is a list of
assholes in the senate and all of the government who would have swept that under the rug and plead not guilty when after he had
the time to gather himself (which all traumas take time before you THINK clearly) he took responsibility and plead GUILTY....
but anyway enough of that.... he was the last and only of his kind. It just makes me sad....now what?
I feel like I've lost an uncle
He was always supportive of people he believed in and gave them everything he had.
He wasn't a perfect person, but he wasn't the worst of his kind. He will be greatly missed by many, that is certain
(And at first
WOB, I thought you were talking about Ted and in Doc when he left earlier, lol)
LMFAO!!! that would be gay i never call him Ted
