I'm a 3 but I used to be a 5 before they stripped me of rank b/c I did paid postings for PPP.

Google doesn't approve of PayPerPost because basically they're selling page rank. But isn't every paid link out?

According to Google people should make use of the nofollow tag on ads.

I don't know what algorithm they use, but it's something to do with how many links go out versus what comes in.
