that although it didn't seem to be an option at registration, once he got into Plurk it was able to find his friends based on his gmail acct

I'm going to follow way fewer here than twitter- will friend most but not necessarily keep them in timeline. I love that feature.

and doing 1 friendship request at a time for imported Twitter pals is long and slow, back to start after each one
