been trying to write a Simplenote/Yojimbo sync client. I am wondering whether I have suddenly become stupid or whether Sync Is Hard.

diff/patch/merge can be complex for sure. I tihnk that is why most syncs don't actually Sync at all but just overwrite

Having now mostly got it to work, I think it is that everything must be in a very precise order, which is a pain.
