I never got into twitter but for some reason(s), I really dig Plurk. Look, it let's you respond to people's update. That's a huge plus.

the ability to respond is a killer plurk feature. Before plurk is more usable the interface needs to be more logical rather than novel.

this method of threading updates without having to use a 3rd party service (like for Twitter) is a very nice feature.

to agree. i would like to see the date/time (or something to indicate such) on comments, just for clarity and to see a conversation's age.

I think the biggest advantage of Twitter these days is its API and SMS gateway. If you don't have that, it's useless for me.
