that the ending to "Daisy" was a little anti-climatic. I feel Daisy's death caused more mystery and confusion to surround her character.

I thought her death was a nice little twist. But I agree there is a little confusion about "what could have happened" between her and W.
considering W took her last message as her telling him she would have liked him back
If she hadn't died, poor W would have been chasing her around the world for the rest of his life...
Yeah she knew the whole time how he felt about her and yet it took her until she was on her death bed to admit she liked him. Confusing.
I feel her death was important in that it signifies the death of innocence as a result of the clash between tradition and progression
Daisy's death was also very abrupt. You read the story, and then in the last page, she's dead. Weird!
It was very sudden! I was not expecting it as I was reading whatsoever
