why everyone dislikes Daisy. She was just a girl ahead of her time. She's the American girl that every guy wants and every girl wants to be.

Curious, would this be from Daisy's perspective?
I didnt realize until today that Daisy is technically still a child. Her actions are of course childish! poor Daisy
i wouldn't necessarily say i dislike daisy. but i wouldn't necessarily say her actions were amiable either.
she was a woman ahead of her time, but her naivety inevitably caused her downfall
She may have been ahead of her time, but she wasn't ahead enough for my liking. She needed to say what she meant.
I liked her because she did what she want and didn't follow the "rules" of society
The first time I read this story I disliked her because it seemed like she had no concern for the consequences of her actions of her family,
But now I think maybe she wasn't fully aware of the rules of this game she was thrust into, being young and of new money, and I sympathize.
I feel as if Daisy’s intentions were, for the most part, wholesome. She came across naive
Daisy, but felt that she was a little annoying and "over confident" at times.
she was closer to adulthood than many may realize. Remember, she is in a time period where people are married and forced to grow up...
...by age 16. Still, she is way ahead of other female literary characters, such as Lady Brett Ashley, who is in her 30's and acts 16.
