if you get the app Ping, you can send messages to other iPhone users who also have Ping (like me) but i'm not sure what messages you'd send

me. there are tons of free apps, or lite versions of the apps

apps i like, Flickit, Polarize, facebook, StitchMinder, sheep launch free.

there's also this one call iphone tips lite, that gives a few tips that i found useful.

oh, i just go to the app store on the iphone. you have to set up an account with apple, but there are plenty of free apps. "App Store"
