I've gotten my laptop to dual boot Linux and Vista. It took me a while to get the wireless working in linux but I finally did.

Linux Mint which is an off shoot of Ubuntu
That sounds interesting.. I would be afraid to zap Vista and start over on my laptop though.. wish I had a spare to test it on first..
