"muffin top" always makes me think of the students I had who would wear jeans too tight and short shirts exposing their mid sections....

I don't know about here, but in TO the boys called those muffin top girls

muffin top does have multiple meanings. CJ prefers the one involving delightful baked goods.

though that the consumption of one type of muffin top can lead to the development of the other type...
