i call my boss "mama kim" cause she's been more of a mother than a boss to me.

haha! hindi naman "palengkera." It's just that if I were the boss, I wouldn't want my people calling each other with those names.

maybe it reminds me of brothel lingo: "mamasan." and cheap showbiz lingo: "pappable," "ang gwapo ng papa mo." :-D

i think its more of an american culture, than Pinoy's. especially when you're talking to the higher ups. it would be nice though!

i agree.:-) i think the "mommy" and "daddy" names keep them in the home and family atmosphere while in the work place...

...since most Filipinos aren't that transparent and direct in the workplace.
