plurk has potential as an app, afterall, ppl didn't know what to make of twitter at the beginning.

I think plurk will become an afterthought in the shadow of twitter. plurk is fun, but I don't think it has much potential beyond that.

the audiences for the two apps are different. I think some ppl on twitter are in the wrong place (conflicting agendas)

Plurk appeals to a younger audience, like me when I was younger.
