The customer's name is Kity and she has just been in NZ for 2 weeks...She obviously needs some help as she looked so lost...
Through conversation, I noticed that she has experienced poor hospitality from her homestay
who hardly talk to her, only allow her to have 4 mins shower each day, getting weekly rental of $250 from her, but hardly anything in return
I also noticed the homestay is living in one of the most wealthy areas in Auckland - St Mary's bay! whilist we enjoy God's love so much,
We have to really think about poor people like this girl.... I tooke her phone number down and I hope your guys can give me some suggestions
What can we really do to help her out?
Praise the Lord for you heart for others. Let's start from bringing her to a church first?
It might seemed irrelevant now, but I know for sure that God leading her to you is the begining of a change for her.
yeah, I know... I was thinking about introducing her to Bethel group but too far away? because she does not drive!
yeah, she actually said she wanted to stay with a homestay who is Christian, but you know what, the school does not allow her to do so!
because that homestay is not "school appointed" and does not "take care of students well"!
its sad to hear because nowdays ppl make money for the wrong purposes! but I am glad to hear that Christians always differentiate themselves
by doing nice things for ppl!
Why not think about to change a homestay? she could tell these conditions to the college and they will take over the problem
It's sad to see this happening. I've see something similar to this in the past.
Would it help if someone made a formal complaint to the school?
Normally there is some agreement between the school and homestay in cases like this.
Sounds like the homestay is in breach of at least part of the agreement by treating this girl like this.
學校開黑店?
sorry i did not read it carefully. So the homestay is NOT school appointed? So who says she's cant move to another homestay?
我有點被搞混~homstay不是學校安排 為什麼不能換?
Frandy, I'm proud of you. You are a good Samaritan.
why is she not allowed to have a homestay owner who is a Christian?
I dont see whether it is school appointed or not really matters
I doubt the school has any says in which homestay you live in. If the school does have problem with it, Change school?
what about change a homestay? I don't see any reason that you can't change this whether school appointed one or not.
it is good to hear because that Christians differentiate themselves, so people wants to stays with Christians
