Heh, I knit it into a hat.
but it's all different "weights"...
i am trying for thin...so there is a big difference between the first and second batches
Eh, does it really matter in a hat? Make a hat for your daughter. She'll lose it soon enough anyway.
lol....yup...funny, i was just thinking i should make her a hat with it. Of course, I'd need to spin more to have enough...lol
Oh, rats. You'll have to spin more.
yeah, can you imagine....oh, the sacrifice!
The horror, the humanity! Handling soft fibers, making pretty yarn...no one should be subjected to such torment.
seriously.....
I'm all out of spinnable fiber. I've been gazing at my dog lately wondering if I could spin his fur.
mine wouldn't work well...doesn't shed much and the fiber would be too short
Half border collie, half american eskimo. Lots of fluffy white fur, with a feltable undercoat.
When I got him, his undercoat had felted to his skin because he was kept outside all the time and allowed to get wet, and not dried
poor baby....lots of nice soft fur though.....
Yep, nice soft fur that gets dirty as soon as you look at him funny.
hmmm...that might not bode well for a FO
Well, if I dyed it, the dirt might not show as much. Hmmmm, maybe I should dye the dog.
rotf....i don't think he'd like it much
That dog would let me cut off his paws if I wanted to. He trusts me that much.
yeah, but that doesn't mean he'd be happy about it.
but, hey, as long as he lets you.....
Should I go with basic black or be daring and dye him pink?
pink, but shocking pink....
Heh, He'd die of embarassment I think.
how would he know? i thought they didn't see the same range of colors we do?
He'd know. The cat would tell him.
, in answer to the original question, display it proudly, colorfully in a lovely bowl!
Or a pretty ice cream dish!
wine glass, water goblet, fish bowl!
I'm going to dye mine and knit a hat.
