oh, one more rule: "this awful day is over" is a cheap copout and should only be used in the most dire of circumstances.

today's good thing: i have a clean duvet cover. it is no longer dingy yellow, it is brilliant white. bleach and hot water are good things!

My good thing: Finished and mailed a prayer shawl for my friend's preemie daughter in NICU in WA.

From yesterday: loan was approved

from today: long walks around town to interesting abandoned/industrial places.

mine: being there for a friend who needed me

mine: 12 hours of good sleep.
