don't forget Times Square, Central Park and Soho...Soho is GREAT!

St. Patrick's cathedral is great if you like huge, ornate Catholic displays.

yeah... it's not so great if you prefer small noisy coffee shops with a strange bagel selection.

There is a Sanrio store in NYC, too. It's pretty cool, but tiny.
