so far, I am certainly treated with respect and valued. But then, I am active and in good health and involved in many things. Those who

need respect and value are those who are in ill health that people don't think have any intelligence left. And of course, they do!

Yup, I am always really sad when I think about people in nursing homes with no one who will visit them.

Or grandparents whose families ignore them!
