if anyone wishes we would have read longer texts like we did with "Invisible Man?"
latest #12
yes, I'm always a big fan of reading the novels.
"Ulysses" could have been an option lol.
Oh dear, Ulysses. That's on my lists of texts I have to do battle with, lol.
I would have loved to read more novels, like something by a beat writers. Jack Kerouac maybe?
While I do love novels, I have really enjoyed getting more into the short story genre. It's something that people don't normally
take the time to read in their spare time because short stories are not as widely publicized and harder to find. So I think the short
stories have also been great this quarter. Plus, I found Invisible Man, while poignant, very depressing, and lacked sparkle=)
i liked the shorter ones the best
this class seems to be very well planned. there are works from many lengths of texts and they all.
help to give you a more comprehensive understanding of the entire discipline at the time
aka what was going on in short stories as opposed to novels or poetry
