if we were supposed to feel sorry for Miranda in Sexy even though she knew she was sleeping with a married man and that it was wrong
latest #8
No, not really. She knew what she was doing going into it, but I do believe she let her identity get sucked up in his.
I don't feel bad for her, other than Dev was kind of leading her on when she should be spending time meeting someone on her own rather than
focusing on sneaking around with a married man.
I don't know if the author wanted us to sympathize with her or not, but I did. The story takes place over several weeks, but in that time
she only talks to her co-worker and Dev. What a lonely woman she must be! And though I don't approve of the affair, she broke it off once
confronted with the gravity of her actions, which I think redeems her a bit.
