so basically, you make little updates called plurks, and when you click on them, you're able to reply to them

and once you get more plurks, you'll be able to scroll the timeline

there's also this feature called karma-when you do stuff like update your profile or plurk a lot, then it goes up

but if you do stuff like become inactive or have your friend request denied, it goes down

and with more karma, you can do more stuff on the site

so yeah, that's basicaly it. sorry for the tl;dr
