Mobile plurk makes more sense to me than regular plurk.

It's more familiar, I think. It could be used as a "gateway" to the "real" Plurk. (LOL)

that I totally agree. I like the mobile plurk. I don't need the fancy interface by any means.

Really? I like grouping my plurks here. That is the big deal for me with Plurk. Ask a question, then if I leave, it is easy to go back.

mcarls I agree - when I'm traveling I use Mobile plurk

So glad to see you here again! And yes, mobile plurk was much easier for me to read at first!

mcarls ... Yes we all want to know about group plurks. Some feature we are not seeing?

grouping may mean threaded conversations. Mobile plurk is more linear???

chriswherley I am realizing Plurk are just discussion forums with a fancy interface, and timeline based tracking.

If you "show all friends" you can create a "clique". Then, by using the advanced Plurking options, you can send *only* to that group.
courosa says

rorowe do these advanced options only appear when you have more karma?
rorowe says

Right below where you'd wite your post, there's a very little menu that says "Private plurks, languages, & options"
mhobkirk says

no you do not need more karma for cliques or private plurks

rorowe Ahhhh, I see that now. Useful

courosa Had much the same thought! Plurk is a forum/bbs limited to 120c and w/o subgroups. But then T is 'jus

Mobile Plurk is faster to read. At least for me. My eye mutes the conversations I am not interested in.
