I HATE MAP TESTING -- whew that feels so much better.
latest #20
even though I understand the common good I do not like the limits on what I can accomplish curriculum wise in a school year.
today we began testing. Our data was uploaded and downloaded by a dist person since it hadn't been done by the time requested.
Guidance councelor is testing coordinator. She "didn't" do it b/c she is a technophobe.
SO Fri at 1PM I inherited all tasks repated to tech for MAP.
She got another teacher to make schedules, and all kids will be tested in straight abc order by proctors in lab.
Some proctors are first year teachers or teachers new to state/dist who have NO Expe testing\
I have to upload dtata AND add students who are not in the test
I still dont know how to do any of this b/c IVE NEVER done any part of MAP testing'
But I got the job (the tech side) b/c Im the most experienced tech person.
No training. nanda. Nothing
It is hopeless to think i will master all that is MAP on its tech side before our window of testing is done
not to mention the resentment Im feeling
i have to figure out who is not tested b/c there name isnt showing up, awhop is not finisjed, and who was absent
3 people cannot coordinate testing separately
I feel your pain! we have a great network administrator, I just had to set up labs and have to proctor, someone else uploads
testing went better today folks.
