anyway, for those who don't know

the creation myth, according to yugioh zexal:

in the beginning, there was a dragon. the dragon was very lonely, so it created the universe.

however, it used up all its energy to do so, so it would soon die. saddened that it could not experience the universe it created, the dragon shed a single tear.

this tear was the numeron code, a card which controls the universe & can re-write reality, etc etc. the tear collided with the earth, creating the moon & the key to unlocking the numeron code

and also probably kick-starting life on the planet who knows

and thus, card games were born lmao

(PS the creator dragon is also a card)
