if life could stop happening just for a minute I'd appreciate it

it's hard to tell but the water is coming out of the wall where the from the burst pipe.

thankfully the maintenance people responded to my phone call and showed up within 10 minutes of the break happening.

but I came home shortly after 5:00 p.m., I had taken the dog into the office to be with me all day, and there are industrial fans all over my house that I can't turn off

a bathtub full of wet things from maintenance people

no..... terrible. awful.

Honey is not happy.

None of my local friends that I called are at home

for us to crash at for like an hour

I called the after hours maintenance number.

The guy told me that they'll come to turn them off when they should be turned off.

And I'm not to touch them.

Internet tells me. They'll be on for. 24 hours. At a minimum.

they truly always happen at the worst time

I mean the worst worst time would be

The day I was leaving for spring break, five minutes after I'd left.

The water could have been pouring out for hours or days before a neighbor thought to call about the water coming from underneath my trailer.

I'm going to try sleeping... on an air mattress on the floor in my home office space.

There are no fans there.

It's strangely hypnotic. The sound is... peak drone. And therefore it's just an explosion of white noise.

I cannot watch TV or listen to music and hear anything clearly.

So it's just me sitting around feeling like I'm dozing off but also it's Loud and so I'm not.

Slept ok last night, but a bit cramped (it's a single mattress on the floor).

The dog was Very Confused as to why I was sleeping on the floor, which is meant for the Dog.

Went to work at 8am and I shut the dog in the office, hoping beyond hope that the maintenance people would show up to remove the fans.

They did not.

It's 1:30pm and the fans are. Still here. And running.

imma just... unplug them tonight and plug them back in tomorrow.

Yeah i think the one that was in my bedroom for a burst pipe was in there for 3-4 days @_@

I have SIX of these.

the dog won't eat or drink.

Okay.

There were timers on them so if I shut them off the people who set the fans would know.

SO I slept on the floor in the office again.

The dog only ate food when I took her last night to someone else's house.

Today I had to drive Honey to Brian's to be dogsat while I go to Phoenix for a week.

And while I was out doing that someone came into my home and turned them off.

But.

The fans are still here.

So I don't have them running but they're still absolutely in the way, only letting my open my 'fridge about 1/3rd of the way, directly in front of my bathtub, etc.

So anyway can anyone point out on my power bill when the fans got plugged in.

Found out a few hours ago when I picked up a bag that was near my dresser

The bag was damp

The dresser is against the wall where the laundry machine is.

So the water.

Leaked.

Underneath the wall.

SO I GUESS THE FACT THAT THEY LEFT ALL OF THE FLOOR FANS IS A GOOD THING.

I pulled the dresser back from the wall

And have been Blasting it with two floor fans since about 2pm.

The area is no longer Damp.

I'm still Blasting.
