Along with the mods' general reminder plurk, if any characters would take the smart approach of trying to find where the barrier's coming from and stop it at it's source, it's probably a good idea to make that known soon, too!
This was initially plotted out in a more interactive style and had depended on finding out the February voting outcome, but the perfect tie left things a bit ??? So I'm guessing we need an idea of what direction the negotiations on the 23rd will be leaning, to know how it'll actually go down.

I feel like having Ianthe do anything other than encourage Alina to supernova the barrier is having her do too much in this event since she's got a piece of the heart.
but if it's necessary for someone to point the finger at Mahito, she could do that by feeling out the barrier. I'd rather just not have her be the one of the are other options
jgy doesn't have the ability to suss out who cast the barrier, but if alina is losing strength trying to bring it down, he can share some spiritual energy with her. he'd just need to be close enough to touch her wrist to make it happen
Yeah whether it's actually necessary is the part I'm not sure about. If the Duchess basically knows everything that's going on, does someone even need to tell on him? I know when I submitted the idea I was under the impression she'd know and he'd be in trouble no matter what.
But it just feels more conclusive to be able to let the mods know at the end, how much the voidtouched helped / whether they're more loyal to her or their own / etc
SO I had responded to the plotting thread as I saw attack efforts, and I feel like it should pretty much still be the same idea even if there's been no official outcome?
Collaboration is great and curtains are honestly the weakest thing Mahito's capable of, so I like the idea of a blanket "no" to any one person attacking, and a likely "yes" to any combination of efforts!
Alina generates her own light from inside herself but also draws from around her. she's amplified so it's very strong. but that's as far as my grisha knowledge goes.

ftr mods will be responding to barrier efforts after all submissions are finalized after the 23rd about how the taking it down went and yes the duchess will be aware it's mahito regardless but we would like for the VT to publicly be aware of what went down there for the sake of everyone being on the same page re: metaplot info

No worries about modwork related bits! I was mainly hoping to find more IC involvement in the identification side of things so we can provide more influence comments or a more structured answer in time.
Bumping as mods have brought up it's not optional but mandatory, that the discovery is spread ICly rather than waiting for a moot hall to do it.
