Yesterday while walking Momo, my four year old maltepoo, I was stopped by a woman who explained to me that Momo should only be kept in my yard or be allowed to pee on my lawn, and if I want to take him somewhere, I should walk a half mile to the next neighborhood over.
Now, keep in mind: Momo was on a four-foot-long leash, he had not peed or pood in front of her, though he did stop to sniff the edge of someone's lawn without stepping on it (not her lawn) and we were two or three houses away from her house before she felt compelled to step out of her car and come talk to me.
I had to get back home to work, so all I said was, "Thank you for your input, I'll take it into consideration," though when she ended with "Have a blesse day," I did smile politely and tell her that I hoped she had the day she deserved.
Then the director of the school I supply lunches for emailed me back changes to the lunch menu without discussing any of it with me first, and that included moving days around in a way that creates logistical nightmares for me concerning work and my other catering orders, and adding in menu items I have previously removed because the kids weren't eating them
