2 weeks ago it was spring break and I went to Phoenix Arizona to visit with my parents.

my mom is possessed with the belief that everyday we must do something.

she wanted to go to an olive oil Vineyard but it turned out it was like an hour and 45 minutes away one way. so instead we went to Kung Fu Panda that day.

every night we would have to sit together as a family and watch usually two episodes of the Masterpiece Theater series All Creatures Great and Small.

my parents tend to like to watch mid 20th century historical set pieces.

went to church at my parents church and it was depressing because praise band and preacher who rambled on and on and felt the constant need to point out we're not Catholic even though what it was that they actually are is non-denominational which basically means Baptist but without calling us Baptists

this week church choir had to sing at Maundy Thursday and at Good Friday service. and I'll be singing again in about an hour and a half for easter.

it was Palm Sunday when I was at my parents church and the pastor just came out and said now today's Palm Sunday but I don't really know what that is.

amazing job. I feel secure with you running things.

we went to the musical instrument museum which is a really nice museum. but you do come to the realization very soon that everyone in the world figured out how to invent drums and flutes and some kind of a horn.

also went to Medieval Times. it was fun, but I don't know that I need to go again anytime soon. the people on horses really were very good at what they were doing though. that obviously takes a lot of training.

Ramadan fast break meal from last night with Muslim colleagues

went to Ramadan break fast meal with Muslim colleagues again. I think the cake was orange blossom flavored. fantastic five out of five.
