You know, between Silver Banshee appearing semi-regularly in Action Comics, Lana Lang back as Superwoman, and Omen appearing regularly in Power Girl, I'm feeling pretty well catered to by the Metropolis group editors. It's like someone there really loves me.
I really hope that no one just randomly decides to make Siobhan a villain again, because I really enjoyed the New 52/Rebirth take, which is being continued here. Plus, she and Jimmy are kinda cute together?
I kind of love that we have the Superfamily operating as a cohesive family in Action Comics, and I love that we're seeing something similar happening with the Wonderfamily too, though I think we do need a secondary title for the Amazons.
Like I think that Amazons Attack proved that there are interesting stories to be told that don't actively feature Diana, and it'd be nice if Artemis' current story wasn't taking place in a Batman anthology book?
Like, give us a Sensation Comics anthology book. Give us stories featuring Nubia, Donna, Cassie, Yara, Artemis, and other Amazon-related characters. Give me Blue Snowman, give me Cheetah, give me Circe.
But also, apart from the Amazons, DC also has the Female Furies of Apokolips, the Kherubim through Zealot, and also the Zamarons, and I felt like one of the big missed opportunities we had in the first Birds of Prey arc was that there wasn't a lot of space to explore the differences and similarities in ideologies and ways of life between
like Barda, Zealot, and Diana, and an anthology book for the Amazons would be SUCH a great place to delve into that, because these are cultures that really deserve a deeper dive
especially with how they view each other, interact with each other, all that
Ans you know that the Amazons of Themyscira, the Bana-Mighdall, and the Esquecida are all going to have differing viewpoints on these other cultures
TL;DR, there is still so much untapped potential in the DCU, and I really wish the writers would tap into it
