Insert Manic into Sonic Prime and ramble.

tseutsumi: Manic in Sonic Prime. Okay I've got thoughts already since I had game au Manic ideas.

Green Hill Manic in a thief who hangs around Rouge a lot since they're both more of the thief type, but he's equally comfortable around both Sonic and the game and Shadow...because he knows how to not step on Shadow's toes.

New Yoke Manic is a street kid still. He does help out the resistance by stealing supplies for them, but he lacks in combat skills and so makes sure he never has a connection with them. And when Sonic shows up, he's interested in him because the only other hedgehog he's seen is a robot. But doesn't know what to make of him supposedly betraying the cause.

Bosc Cage Manic lives on the jungle floor because he blends in and actually knows how to scavenge food without Thorn catching him. If he can get a little more he tries to help out the scavengers, but is afraid to be seen with or buy them because he's paranoid Thorn will hunt him down or Prim and the others will steal his food.

He does turn up to help Sonic navigate the jungle to catch Thorn, but he's just as reluctant to try and talk her down as the others. Once everyone has made up, he moves back to the village. His weapon of choice is a sling.

Pirate Manic is part of Dread's crew, and actually isn't really bored by the party life since he gets to perform daily. He's not really into the whole Pirating part of being a pirate and is more about the adventure...and robbing the Old Crew blind when they show up to bully his Captain. When Sonic turns up, he's put off by him being all about this rock that

brought out the worst in Dread, and he tries to warn Sonic when the red flags start to crop up. But as Dread gets worse in pursuit of Sonic and the start, he stops supporting him and is eventually ousted. He ends up back on the Angel's Voyage before the rest of the crew, and is there when the world starts to decay.

The other Manic's are Cavalry, Stealthy, and Crow's Nest.

Nine in Sonic Underground, go.

Oh geez, Nine in Underground is that guy who lives alone beneath Robotropolis and steals everything he needs. His tails do help him fight, but he actually made them to scare people into thinking that he's roboticized so they won't bother him.

He eventually runs into the siblings and things start out really rough because he's willing to let the city be so long as he has his safe haven, but that's threatened in part due to the presence of the triplets and his home gets trashed and almost he almost gets roboticized.

After he's saved, he does accept their friendship and moves house to start a covert branch of the resistance, where he doesn't get along with everyone, but he's a valuable addition to the cause.
