In the original pinned post you can see the struggles, the break downs, the proof of vet visit (also shown in the GFM), and everything that went along with it.

I don't know how long between steroids stopping will he start having asthma attacks again.

It caused him to vomit multiple times, and could sometimes last for seconds to at least a minute. Those are very scary moments.

Thank you for anyone who has shared the previous one, shares this one, and donates even a dollar to help Fredday.

Bonus: picture of him sleeping on my bed with me which he hadn't done in weeks...

(I had really hoped I could buy the inhaler separate and then go from there and at least get him training to learn to have something that size against his vet, but the shop said no. And every rec I got was to one of two places and this was the best option for what was had... Unless something tragic/large changes) I'm fairly upset by this.

I'm also upset that all the job hunting is turning out just as bust as it did for me 24 years ago. Nothing's changed.

And when my mom, a senior, is looking for daytime work... My bitterness and fears wonders how many are willing to even give her a shot. We have no more money to even successfully pay rent on time unless income comes in.

So I'm pleading for at least Fredday. At least HIS meds and needs can be taken care of.

We can ask our landlord to maybe take half our rent and wait or SOMETHING. But health? That's different.

No guarantee on either, but still...

I tend to get a lot of sc@m attempts when help is requested - and I see the same ppl attempt it to others, so I'm usually reluctant (they then [lie] claiming they don't work to start the sc@m)

Fredday has chosen he has a lot of interest in playing and active more! Which is good!

Flipside, he wants less to do with what's left of the steroids (liquid mixed with food) and that's only extending the time between him without any medication.

I just. Really hope that nothing triggers actual attacks in the meanwhile and that him not taking his meds in full doesn't muck things up in the meanwhile.

Also: still no jobs for my mom. She can't drive at night and I would not be surprised if her age is/has/will play a factor in any hiring.

The one lead fell through after all the "yeah, they're hiring!" but then come to find out they only wanted evening shifts.

We will only have 1/3-1/2 of rent for July, so with this stress on Fredday, plus the job issue it's. Stressful. To put it lightly.

The only reason I'm even still posting anything is for Fredday's sake.

Here's Fredday when he was demanding my mom's attention at her computer, so sat up on the desk and stared at her ;;

Still no luck on the job hunting, either. Applications are being filled out, but like... nothing. And most jobs in the area seem to want nurses or other such things, and it's like. She's not one, so.

3 days away and can't make rent either. So. It's just all Not Good. So these donations have been the highlight of touching and one of the only things that've given me any "hope" considering everything else... isn't.

Sooo! Crosspost update:

By the time the amount was made, it was July 4th (Holiday in the 'states) weekend, so things were closed and I wasn't sure if they would even get to talk to the vet or not in time.

I was able to order it, made it express to be 10 days instead of 20, was able to get the dose wanted, found the 'script, and now am

just waiting on the shop to contact the vet because it requires a 'script and the document I have has "VOID" all over it - and I don't have a scanner/fax machine to send it, soo. Here's the proof of my ordering, and now I'm just waiting for all the confirmation fun to happen.

I honestly have no idea how long this stuff normally takes for pets?

Nor in Canada to US, so... I just gotta hope it doesn't take long. Fredday's had a few coughs (like once every few days) and I've been anxiously waiting to get this sent out.

If it works, then I think I'll order the meat stick (like gogurt?) for cats as the treat/motivation to get Fredday to accept it.

I'm incredibly nervous, because I know for a while there's gonna be some waste of medication as he adapts...
