so now I'm just hanging out. not starting the first leg of this trip.

there is no perishable food left in my house. I had technically prepped everything to be ready to go today.

I guess there's still some bread in the refrigerator and some eggs.

so now I'm just in a weird state of limbo where I have nothing to do because I'm not supposed to be here and I don't even know if I can leave tomorrow

if his kid is still sick tomorrow, I'm just going to have to get a hotel room or something later because the rental place I'm heading off to next won't be ready until Friday

I hate! Driving!

It's very stressful. I'm tense the entire time.

Constantly aware that I'm in a box hurtling along a thin strip full of other hurtling boxes.

Some people say that driving is relaxing. I cannot possibly see how.

spoke with friend this morning his kid is still sick and now his wife feels like she's getting a sore throat and fever. so I'm absolutely not going.

it would be a very bad look for me to spend several days in a house with people who I know are sick then go have a birthday party for my 90 year old grandmother and then a week later spend several days with an immuno compromised friend.

I have found a friend in Indiana who's willing to let me spend the night but because they have to work I can't really hang around. still, it's halfway between where I live and where I'm going and I'm very grateful for that.
