Square opted EVERYONE who uses their service into appearing on the American Express Small Business Map, which means your business now shows up on a searchable map with whatever address you have listed in Square.
The only way (so far) to remove yourself is to find yourself on the map, edit your business info, and use the code in the email from Square to delist yourself.

I didn't get an email or find myself on the map, so this may not apply if you only have a location designated as "mobile"? or possibly a PO box? I'm assuming one of those disqualified me
i also did not get an email but was still on there, not sure why...I was able to change my info without any email tho
i think it takes a while for changes to go through tho, ugh. at least it's a super old address on there....
I suspect this is the kind of thing that gets rolled out a little at a time

if it were just one person in charge I would be more willing to chaulk it up to "didn't think it through", but...come on...how many times have people tried to do this in recent memory? They have a strong tendency to get found out...
