i learned the battle system really well and now i'm levelling up all my boys so i can earn all their vignettes and get stronger spells
so far my fave boys are leona (unsurprising, we is pretzels), cater, and [wistful romantic sigh] malleus

I can definitely recommend it. It's way more enjoyable than I expected
if you ever need tips on the battle system it's TERRIBLY EXPLAINED but actually makes a lot of sense

i just started chapter 3 and my opinion is: everyone sucks and they all deserve what they get, oh my god
You can set a unit to be used as a guest in battle for others, friends get...some kinda points reward or something when they're used
