The more time (and $$$ ugh) I invest in PT, the more I realized how many ways the body can be jacked up and how they're all connected and how ANNOYING it is
I was on the verge of getting discharged in a few weeks (might still be, but it's sort of ehhh now) and then my SI joint got jacked up again, and after my PT did some table work she had me get up and walk back and forth
And she was like hmm your trunk is not moving with the rest of your body enough as you walk, do some sets of threading the needle, maybe that stiffness is what's delaying progress on the lower bits
and I'm like. What. I thought I was just walking normal. How can you even TELL from just a few seconds of watching me walk (20 years of experience is how)
I once was in a mental hospital... and not one but TWO of my fellow patients who were PTs told me how bad my posture was xD ... and probably still is tbh >>
buuuuuut the downside is if there's an imbalance due to muscle weakness, the more miles you do, the more your body has to compensate and that's how I got fucked up
