The Olympics reminds me that the only reason why I know the "kookaburra sits in an old gum tree" is bc when I was a kid (grade 3 I think?) the olympics were taking place in Australia and my teachers thought this was extremely important for us to get invested in
weirdly enough I can't think of any other time my school teaches tried to get us hyped for the olympics
so something about australia got my school really excited for some reason
maybe I should get semi-invested and see how canada is donig
