Had an appointment with a career counselor today. I don't know what will come of it but it's cool to see how many resources my state and county has for unemployed folks. I could be eligible for all sorts of grants for training etc. They have a special training program for disabled folks too.

dkronfeld: not yet. I have to do some "homework" first. I need to look at the resources he sent me, contact someone who deals with disabled folks, work on my resume, etc.
I just looked at the email of resources he sent me and my ADHD brain is going whoa. It's a lot to sift through.
Take your time. Maybe make lists of questions as they occur to you.
I felt like that when I first got hooked up with the VA.
