Insomnia thoughts: sometimes it makes me laugh to think one of the most seminal goth albums is about a bitter band breakup, and its most famous song is a shot at a former member writing supposedly insipid and cliche lyrics.
"Lucretia My Reflection" and "This Corrosion" are about how much Eldritch hates his former bandmates and a little bit about how cool Patricia Morrison is (he has since come to hate her).
"Neverland" is some fucking drug thought Eldritch had about what if gravity stopped and we all flew off into space or the void, which while dumb is technically about something.
Every other track (depending on what version you are listening to, is 4 and 7 more tracks) is either about literally fucking nothing or a cover of a Hot Chocolate single.
