first of all, the fact that yujin has been doing the adventures of herlock sholmes snippets the whole game, and also that's always his handwriting in them, and you don't know about it until the end of the game has me Emotional every time

secondly it's really cool that when they localized tgaa they made an effort to get japanese-english VAs for the japanese characters in order to get an accurate portrayal and i think it pays off with the accents. i think it's just kazuma and yujin for major-ish characters who aren't?

eng+jp edit 3also its really fun that in game the characters do swap between japanese and english (you can tell, they'll switch from mr./ms. to using japanese honorifics depending on who theyre talking to) i love this cutscene edit to illustrate it

bc a lot of them aren't really from the VA sphere! they're stage performers from around the UK... i'm so used to like. sorry to be mean to americans for a sec. but embarrassing ass fake briish accents in english dubs lol. so hearing actual regional accents and stuff in a game makes me really happy
