Using this for Lute Thoughts. A lot of the point of this for her is trying to pull herself out of depression and be more sociable, which is something she's actively working on.
As Michael would tell her, Adam would not want her to be moping around fake Heaven (and sampling too much of the wine, shh let's not tell Michael that bit)
Lute is having a lot of new experiences lately (most of them horrible) but she has been around a long time and has a better sense of perspective than my usual teenage characters!
Better coping mechanisms. She is doing this club twice a week but she's also training every day and going down to Hell to fight zombies or whatever to test herself and get thst positive adrenaline
Husk is very wary of Lute. This is basically spying on her without any of the covertness, but also keeping an eye on everyone she's teaching. His concerns about self-defense are at least somewhat legit, too

Klaus might peep it. Him instinctively reacting too much. Lolol. He remembers his martial arts, but only when he's attacked
Yes, and she knows that's exactly what he's doing and is basically like - go on then, I have nothing to hide here. So long as he's not disrupting what she's trying to do she's okay with it.
Anything that she doesn't want him and his friends to know about will not be happening there
Also, legit concerns about the skill issue, her technique is very offense-heavy, but also she knows now that they can be killed so she's aware of the problem and trying to adapt
kingdonkey yes please! Lute can even personally invite him if that would help. She'd be praising the instinct and trying to help him get it under better conscious control (and intervening if he needs to calm it down lol)
I am enjoying their thread! Because Ari used to always avoid talking much about Klaus' supernatural experiences to avoid pointless arguments. But Lute wants to know all about it
