I live with my dad. He is 65 and has no health problems. He went out to play sports 15min away at 2pm and said he'd be back by 4. We planned to go out for dinner leaving at 5 (this is not something we do often, it was specially planned)
It is now 6.45 and no sign of him. He left his phone at home. Am I being overly anxious and embarrassing if I walk down to his sports club? Like, maybe he just decided to go out with friends instead idk. Definitely not still playing sport as it is getting dark now
It's not even about health problems, he's almost three hours late to see you and has no other means of contact
Thank you <3 I just don't want to seem like I'm treating him like a child 'you're late' etc but I'm worried
I'll go now. Thanks guys!
that's a significant amount late so no that's not unreasonable to question. Good luck!
Yeah, two hours has now turned into five hours
Also like you're supposed to be at dinner
(Honestly you're supposed to be FINISHING dinner at this point)
So it's also just rude even if he is fine?
Definitely go check on him
good! so glad to hear that
He was still at the club! He played two matches instead of one, with a break in the middle- which yes is slightly rude knowing I was waiting but I am just relieved it was nothing bad. We went for dinner after I found him.
I'm glad it was nothing bad though!
