I had such a great day yesterday with my beloved, rounded off with seeing Peter Kay at Sheffield Arena. Phil sounds so much like him and uses the same phrases, and they used to hang out together when he was younger. Phil knew him when Peter worked at a garage as a teen, and funnily enough, he referenced that on stage last night.
He's lost so much weight, though; he is half the size he was if that. I know he's been very ill, but he bounced all over the stage last night. Being surrounded by thousands of people doubled over in laughter is good for the soul, though, and there was so much love for him in the audience.
