Which I'm sure makes zero sense if you don't play.
Basically Wong makes your On Reveal abilities happen twice
And White Tiger, on reveal, creates an 8-power Tiger at another location
Then Odin, on reveal, makes other On Reveal abilities at that location happen again
So when WT first revealed, it made 2 Tigers because of Wong
Then Odin makes it happen again, so that's 2 more
But we're done, right? Wrong, because Wong makes Odin's ability happen twice too
That's 24 power at each of the other locations, if they didn't bunch up on one
And it's agonizing to watch
The only good way to stop it is to play Cosmo, who blocks On Reveal abilities from happening at all
So I feel like I have to have him in every deck just to protect myself from Army of Tigers, Marvel edition
Okay, I feel a little better now.
The devs regularly take a look at overperforming cards and combos, so I can only hope they decide to make this one a little less world shattering
I might just start retreating whenever I see Wong come out
"What if you made your own deck with this theme--" I don't friggin have Wong's card
I'll get it eventually with the way progression works, but when? No one knows
I think there's a specific tier of play where this comes out a lot
sadly I think I stopped playing for the general reason of being tired of seeing decks a lot I couldn't counteract, even if this specific combo stopped being a problem
pbdigital: yeaaahh, that's totally understandable.
Most of the time my losses feel like it could have been
possible to win, but if the balance goes too far I may end up dropping it again
Hope it doesn't get to that point, I am mostly having fun
I stopped playing like, a while ago the game is a very different thing now I'm sure
and yeah it never felt impossible, it was more just the lack of variety in what I was facing combined with not having the cards I needed to counteract it
