But unfortunately he said he won't watch more because it's a cartoon and he can't get past cartoons being for children

Man I love the freedom animation gives but then it's like so much of the dark horror you have to do animation of because it's way too gory otherwise oops >>

He says hi! this is his first visit in years so I'm very pleased to see him even if he doesn't share my latest fandom obsessions. (His is The Expanse which I said I'd try watching)

He is leaving this afternoon to stay with other relatives for a few days so I will attack my tags then.

I'm really happy though because I worried it'd be awkward and we'd have nothing to talk about but it was like he'd never left and we've just been chatting for hours about all sorts of things
